Best Lobster Roll in New England: PJ's Family Restaurant, Wellfleet, Cape Cod, MA

Having lived in Boston, home of chowda and fresh seafood, for four years, I have finally found the perfect bite of lobster roll. This lobster roll is a simple marriage of sandwich bread, mayonnaise, and lobster, but the result is exceptional. I mean, it's been on this Food Network show, how bad could it be? PJ's lobster roll is amazing not only for its perfectly buttered bread, but also for its perfect ratio of mayo to lobster meat (which is chunky and stringy, not rubbery at all; so you know it's fresh). If you're not a fan of a thick glob of mayo spilling out from the side of your roll, this is the place for you.

Though the setting may be simple, with a drive-thru window at its side, PJ's creates the perfect laid-back New England setting for you to enjoy this staple dish.
