Addressing the obvious

Reflections surface positive space, and make us conscious of surface textures.  Crisp, smooth, sharp, malleable.



Flattening image within image, creating a graphic representation of the object.

Reflections are positive manifestations in society as well as in aesthetics, ironically revealing the apparent and the tangible, and creating compositions which were otherwise unintended.

The negative beauty of shapes.

In art classes, we are often taught to put as much emphasis on negative spaces as on positive spaces.  Positive being the immediate object we observe. 

Sometimes it proves better to ignore the obvious and pay attention to the unconsciously composed.
